There's nothing worse than getting your bridesmaids dress in a color which is popular for wedding, but enables you to dizzy. Here are some guidelines when choosing bridesmaid dresses by color.
Think about the season the wedding will fall in. If it's a spring or summer wedding, choose light colors or pastels. In case your wedding is going to be held in the autumn or winter, apply for darker colors like black bridesmaid dresses or grey bridesmaid dresses.
Think about the time. If the wedding hold in the day, lighter colors perform best. If it's a late afternoon or an evening wedding, you'd better choose darker colors for bridesmaid dresses.
Think about the wedding formality. Most wedding are formal, as well as in these events, darker colors will often work best. When the wedding is casual, you'll be able to go for lighter colors; pink bridesmaid dresses are a good choice.
Think about the venue. For garden wedding in fall, apply for earth or neutral colors such as orange, brown, green or gold bridesmaid dresses. This color scheme may not work if you are wed in the church, though. For any beach wedding, you are able to choose something that goes with the colour of sand, for example the blue bridesmaid dresses. You may also have your bridesmaids wear something that contrasts with the blue sea, like yellow or orange bridesmaid dresses.
Ask your bridesmaids what colors they prefer -- you don't necessarily have to take their suggestions, but their advice may help you narrow down your color choices. Also, if you do end up going with a color that your bridesmaids suggest, you know they'll be just as happy as you will be to order the wedding dresses.
